February 19, 2008 Dear Sir or Madame, The Youth Ministry at CrossRoad United Methodist Church is hosting a Silent Auction fundraising event on Sunday, April 27th, 2008 and we would love for you to participate! We have several trips and events that help to enrich the lives of young people while teaching them how important they are, that they have responsibilities to help and care for others, and that the church is a great place from which to launch their good works in the world. Many of these events cost more than a typical family is able to spend over the course of a year, so we do our best as an organization to help offset those costs through fundraisers such as this. We would be thrilled to accept your gift to help meet these special needs. We are asking you to donate any goods or services you have in order to make our auction a success. With over 1200 church members, your company’s name will be seen by people from all over the Jacksonville area. Enclosed is a form that you can fill out if you choose to make a donation. All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt for your donation. All donated items need to be collected by Sunday, April 20th, 2008.
